A Touch of Zealandia- Floral Art Society of New Zealand

Two structures are poised to showcase the abundance of plant materials we have at our doorstep. Natural fibres have been abstracted and manipulated to complete the design.

Ark in the Park

Ark in the Park is a conservation project in Auckland's Waitakere Ranges. By controlling non-native pests and predators, we help restore the ecology of the area to its natural state. Volunteers participate in all aspects of the project, from management to on-the-ground work. A ‘bufferzone’ on private land along Scenic Drive and into Te Henga, Bethells extends the safe space for native species and rare re-introduced birds like kokako, robins and whiteheads.
